 In 2019, representatives of ACEF participated in the 25th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP25) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and released the documentary “A Journey to Climate Change Conference” to showcase China's climate actions, which gained the media attention from various countries. Li Ruidong, Deputy Secretary-General of ACEF attended the side event “China Pavilion at the UN Climate Change Conference” and delivered a keynote speech on Chinese CSOs’ work on climate communication. ACEF also hosted the “Belt and Road” and renewable energy side event, sustainable consumption exhibitions, press conferences, etc., which got the attention of representatives of various countries. The Department of Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment sent a letter of appreciation for the documentary and other related work. |
